The Justice League: An exciting new program with hands on experiences and field trips designed for those who’d like to dive into social justice. Each experience is different and designed around some of the 7 principles of Catholic Social Justice. There’s an experience for everyone!
Cocoa Beananza!: On November 16 help us sort, sift and enjoy chocolate. Educate yourself on the good, bad, and the deliciousness of the Cocoa and chocolate industry. There is no charge for this event so join us here at St. Joe’s from 6:00-9:00 pm. This event is for grades 5-8 space is limited. Hot chocolate is definitely served ;)
Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church Field Trip: December 9 – We’ll dash through the snow to Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church and then hop on over to the Minneapolis Global Market for lunch, shopping and a fun scavenger hunt. We’ll take a bus. Cost will be based on numbers (to cover our bus costs) so stay tuned to our website in November or the bulletin. Families, individuals, all ages welcome and invited to join us. Sign up online by December 2, 2018! You’ll want to bring money for your Christmas shopping and try some delicious ethnic foods!
Rolling, Rolling, Rolling: On January 15, 2019 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm we’re rounding everyone up to come help us roll bandages and a few other medical supplies at Global Health Ministries in Fridley. Register online by January 6. There will be a small fee to cover our bus transportation. All ages are welcome and encouraged to join us!
Fair Trade Market Days: Oct 27 & 28, Dec 15 & 16, Feb 10 and April 7 on these dates we need you to help us sell goods, serve breakfast, and run a station on caring for our earth. This is a great activity for all ages and for families to volunteer together!
