 All Are Welcome at the Summer Festival August 11 & August 12!

The St. Joseph of the Lakes Summer Festival is a time for parishioners, their families and friends, and the entire community to come together and celebrate. We welcome all people and all age groups for a wonderful two-day celebration to share our love and faith in God.

Festival Highlights

Festival 5K Run/Walk

Outdoor Mass, Live Music/Dance, Fireworks

Famous Chicken Dinner

Join us for our 4th annual 5K RunWalk on Saturday, August 11. The race starts at 8:00am and those pre-registered can pick up their packets starting at 7:15am. Starting August 1, registration fee will be $30 and we cannot guarantee t-shirts. Register by walking up the day of the 5K or pick up a paper registration at the parish office. The Festival officially begins with an Outdoor Mass on Saturday at 5:00 pm under the big tent.  Immediately following Mass will be a live band dance featuring Dr. Jay’s All-Star Band featuring Erin Schwab. Saturday night will also feature a Pork dinner, beer, wine and soda; the annual hula hoop contest and more! To top off the evening, we have a spectacular Fireworks Show! Join us 11:00 am - 3:00 pm for Our Famous Chicken Dinner with potatoes, gravy, dressing and all the trimmings will again be available in the Great Hall. Tickets at the door are $11 for adults, $5 for children. Children ages four and under are free. Buy adult tickets before the festival and save $2!

Grand Raffle

Check out the Silent Auction which has many exciting offerings! We are looking for new donated items with values of $20 and up. You can donate cash for purchasing items or putting together a theme basket. Need an idea?  Watch the bulletin for great ideas for single items and gift baskets.  The fun on Sunday begins with  a fiesta flare. Mariachi music of Arriba Jalisco will fill the Big Tent from 11:00 to 12:00 on Sunday. Try your luck in the Bingo Tent – where every game has a winner!  Additional outdoor activities include giant inflatables, the Wine Toss, Confetti Bowl, Cake Walk and games for all ages, refreshments and lots of great food and entertainment including Saints of Swing throughout the afternoon! The Grand Raffle depends on all St. Joseph families selling as many tickets as possible! Prizes total over $20,000 including the Grand Prize of a Kodiak 450 ATV 4x4!
