 Men's Group Graduation Breakfast - Sunday, May 19 at 10:00 am

All parishioners are invited to celebrate and honor our 2019 graduating seniors at the free Graduation Breakfast in the Great Hall after the 10:00 am Mass Today—Sunday, May 19. Scholarship winners will be announced at this breakfast. Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors!

Theology on Tap - Monday, May 20 at 6:30 pm at the Green Mill in Blaine Village

Theology on Tap is back for the summer!!! Our young professionals are kicking off our first event tomorrow, Monday, May 20 at the Green Mill in the Blaine Village. Join us for a social from 6:30 to 7:00 pm and then stick around with a beer and a talk on "Why do Catholics have Sacraments?" This event is open to anyone ages 18-35 (Must be 21 to drink) and is open to Catholics and non Catholics alike! 

Memorial Day Mass

Our parish community will gather for Mass on Memorial Day, Monday,May 27 at 9:15 am by the flag pole. The Mass will be followed by a brief military service. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. In case of inclement weather, the Mass will be held in the Historic Church.

St. Joseph's Men's Group Meeting -

The Men's Group will meet on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:15 pm in the lower level of the parish office.  All men of the parish are invited to join us for the meeting and for refreshments afterwards.  We'll see you there!

Open Positions at St. Joe’s

  • Director of Adult/Family Formation Ministries and Evangelization  

This is a full-time position. The employee will develop a comprehensive range of programming and ministry that enriches the faith life of parish adults and families that reflects the mission and vision of St. Joe’s. Responsibilities include the oversight, development and management of Family Faith Formation programs and coordination of other Faith Formation department programs and staff. This includes the oversight of RCIA, parish Evangelization and Baptism prep. Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Preferred) in Religious Education, theology or related field, minimum of 5 years of professional experiences in Faith Formation or equivalent areas of experience.   • Coordinator of Faith Formation Age 3 – Kindergarten and Adaptive Learning Ministries Gr 1-10

This is a part-time position. The employee will coordinate the Early Childhood Sunday Program, age 3-Kindergarten, coordinate Children’s Liturgy of the Word, as well as provide support and assistance during Faith Formation programs on Mondays and Wednesdays in the areas of discipline, adaptive learning and other. Must be available Sunday mornings, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, general Education or related field, background in working with children and adults in an educational setting.   • Wedding Coordinator

Do you love weddings? Would you like to be paid to attend weddings at St. Joes? We have openings for Wedding Coordinators. Individuals lead the rehearsal (typically Friday late afternoon 1-1/2 hours), as well as assist at the wedding on Saturday (approx 5 hours) in the areas of keeping the wedding party on schedule, setting up for the Mass, answer questions, etc. It’s a rewarding and fun ministry to be present at this sacrament and assist the couples, their family/friends. St. Joseph's Summer Festival - Mark Your Calendars for August 10 & 11

Reminder!  If you haven’t already done so please pick up your Grand Raffle Tickets located in the Gathering Space.  Get your raffle tickets in for a chance to win over $20,000 in prizes. Tickets and payments may be placed in the drop box located in the Gathering Space on weekends and the hallway near the Parish Office on weekdays. Need more tickets? Additional tickets are available for sale in the Gathering Space.  Or stop by or call the Parish Office at 651.784.3015.  Please turn in all sold and unsold tickets prior to the Festival on August 9.

Holy Land Pilgrimage - Fall 2019

St. Joe’s is taking a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, November 4-13, 2019 and all are invited along. Our group is filling up quickly so don’t forget to register if you want to go!!!! You can pick up a brochure with more information at the front desk or contact Gizzy Miko.
