Faith Formation Small Groups

Faith Formation and Joe's Diner are on break this week for MEA. We will be back on Monday, October 23 and Wednesday, October 25 for Trick or Canning week.  Have a great break!

Fr. Mike's Surgery

Fr. Mike had surgery on his knee on Tuesday, September 26. He has called the parish office to let us and everyone know that he is doing well and that he is actually back home at the apartment as of Wednesday afternoon. He thanks everyone for their prayers and will update us again in a week or two.

Help Needed

St. Joe's Childcare Room is looking for people to work on Monday and/or Wednesday nights for Faith Formation. The times needed are: Mondays from 6:15 to 7:30 pm and Wednesdays from 5:15 to 8:30 pm.  This is a great opportunity to work with our wonderful St. Joe's children! Please call 651-784-3015 and ask for Amy Moore. 

Flu Shots - Monday, October 23

Homeland Health provides flu injection vaccinations to patients ages 3 year and up. Please bring your health insurance card (Primary & Secondary if you have two) along with a copy of your card to the clinic. We Accept the Following Insurances: BCBS of MN, Medica, Health Partners, Preferred One. If you are not covered by one of these health plans, you may purchase a vaccination with cash the day of the clinic. Cost if uninsured: Injection $35

Walk-ins are welcome or our Parish Nurse, Valerie Benedix, will be in the Gathering Space as well to make appointments as well as give out forms to “preregister” and speed up the paperwork process.

Halloween Dance - Friday, October 27

Hop on your broomstick and join your church friends at our Annual Rockin' Hallows Eve Halloween Dance at St. Joseph's! This hair-raising event features live music from St. Joseph's own Java Soul. Dance along to their classic rock music or simply sit back and enjoy their rhythmic melodies. The momentous evening takes place on Friday, October 27 at 7:00 pm in the Great Hall. Adults are $8 (price includes 2 beverages) and children under 12 are $5 (price includes 1 beverage). Bring the entire family for $25! Wear your Halloween costume and bring your ghoulish friends and family members for a spine-chilling good night out.

Haunted Hayride - for 6th - 12 Graders on Friday, October 27

Join us for a Haunted Hayride event at Pine Haven!  This event will help collect canned goods to donate to our local food shelf.  So help us feed the hungry while trying not to get spooked!  The event costs $28 with food shelf items and $30 without food shelf items and goes from 6:30-9:30 leaving from St. Joe's 

Sound Board Operators

Have you wondered how to make a difference and be an integral part of Mass here at St. Joe’s? We are looking for Sound Board Operators for all Masses. We will train and if you are interested please contact Andrea Grasse in the parish office at 651.784.3015.

Metro Dining Cards

The Metro Dining Cards are here and we sell them for a bargain price!  For $25.00 you get a box full of local dining opportunities – many of them two for the price of one.  Using this box once or twice can more than pay for itself.  This makes a great gift for teachers, parents, anyone who likes to eat out. Get them while we have a supply! Your purchase assists our mission trip efforts.
