Faith Formation Small Groups - 2018-2019 Faith Formation Online Registration!

Faith Formation Registration packets for next year’s classes were mailed to homes and the link to register and pay online is on the home page at www.mystjoes.org or click here to be brought to the registration page.  The registration deadline was extended to September 10. Please call Andi in the parish office at 651-784-3015 to make sure we have an open space in the program for you child/ren.

Faith Formation Small Groups - 

Faith Formation Small Groups are off the week of January 21 for the Martin Luther King holiday. We are back in session the week of January 28 and Joe's Diner is back too and the menu is: Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Salad and Apple Crisp ...we'll see you then!

Theology on Tap - Monday, January 21, 2019

If you want a time to relax, drink a beer and ask random questions about the Church, then Theology on Tap is the place for you!!! Our next session is this Monday, January 7, 2019.  Join us at the Green Mill in the Blaine Village at 6:30 pm for social time and the speaker begins at 7:00 pm.

March for Life Rally

St. Joseph’s Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a bus to the 1 hour March for Life Rally at the State Capital on Tuesday, January 22. The bus departs from St. Joe’s parking lot at 11:00 am and will return at approximately 1:30 pm. Please reserve your space on the bus this weekend after Mass by stopping by the Knight's table in the Gathering Space or by calling the Parish Office by 12:00 noon on Monday, January 21 at 651-784-3015.

Suicide Support Group

Join others for an opportunity to share story, listen, and find caring support for those who have lost a loved one to a death by suicide. We meet the 4th Tuesday of the month. This month’s meeting is on January 22 at 7:00 pm in Room 107. Please enter at the Parish Office –door #6. We welcome family and friends from the parish and the broader community.  Contact Barb at the parish office for more information.

Men's Group Meeting

The Men's Group will meet on Tuesday, January 22 at 7:15 pm in the lower level of the parish office.  All men of the parish are invited to join us for the meeting and for refreshments afterwards. We'll see you there!

Infant Loss Support Group

If you have experienced the death of a child during pregnancy or soon after, consider taking time to meet with others who are grieving. We meet Thursday, January 24 and then on February  7 at 6:30 pm in the library, just off the main Worship Space. Please enter at the Parish Office –door #6.  This is an opportunity for those from the parish and broader community including parents, grandparents, loved ones to meet who have experienced the loss of an infant. Contact Barb at the parish office for more information.

Saints of Swing –Big Band Swing Dance on Saturday, January 26 7:00—10:00 pm

Join us in the Great Hall here at St. Joe’s for the musical talents of our own Saints of Swing. Free dance lesson with Carol Brecht-Wiles starts at 6:15 pm with the band kicking it up at 7:00 pm. Admission is $12.00 for adults & $8.00 for those under 21. Each admission includes 2 beverages.

Cana Supper - Saturday, February 9

Join us for our Cana Supper on Saturday, February 9 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm in the Great Hall. Enjoy a social hour, speaker and dancing to our very own Java Soul. All couples are invited to attend, whether you’ve been married a week or 60+ years! Tickets are $50 a couple and include dinner, drinks, and dancing. Childcare is available please let Gizzy Miko know while reserving your spots! Call Gizzy at 651.784.3015.

St. Joe’s Book Sale—Sunday, February 10 after Masses

Donate your gently used and new books and share the love of reading with our friends living in a Guatemalan City Dump. Please consider donating new or gently used books of all genres to the sale and then shop for some new ones! Book donations accepted until February 6 at the Parish Office or Faith Formation Office during sessions. All proceeds will go to Believe Guatemala Inc. for the purchase of books for their tutoring program & community center.

Holy Land Pilgrimage

St. Joe’s is taking a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, November 4-13, 2019 and all are invited along. Our group is filling up quickly so don’t forget to register if you want to go!!!! You can pick up a brochure with more information at the front desk or contact Gizzy Miko.
