Faith Formation Small Groups - 2018-2019 Faith Formation Online Registration!
Faith Formation Registration packets for next year’s classes were mailed to homes and the link to register and pay online is on the home page at www.mystjoes.org or click here to be brought to the registration page. The registration deadline was extended to September 10. Please call Andi in the parish office at 651-784-3015 to make sure we have an open space in the program for you child/ren.
Faith Formation Small Groups - Week of March 25 & 27, 2019
All Faith Formation Small Groups are back in session for Monday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 27! Please join us for dinner as Joe's Diner is back and serving: Sloppy Joes, Chips and Ice Cream Sundaes for dessert.
The Butter Braids are coming, the Butter Braids are coming!
Just in time for Easter and your guests, our Guatemala mission trip team is taking orders after Masses or through the parish office now until March 24. Choose from cherry, strawberry cream cheese, raspberry, blueberry cream cheese, cream cheese, or caramel rolls for $13 each and a savory herb & cream cheese for $14 each. Please make checks out to St. Joe’s and pay at the time of ordering. Pick up your orders after Masses the weekend of April 13& 14.
Lenten Soup Suppers
Join us for a delicious, heart-warming meal followed by soul-warming Mass on the following Tuesdays: March 26, April 2 and April 9. A free will offering is taken to support the Centennial Food Shelf and our mission in Guatemala. Soup Supper starts at 5:15 pm in the Great Hall and Mass is in the Historic Church at 6:30 pm. Tuesday, March 26 is hosted by the Pastoral Care Commission.
Saints of Swing
Listen or dance to our own Saints of Swing, here at St. Joe’s on Saturday, March 23 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm in the Great Hall. Tickets sold at the door $12.00/adult and $8.00/under 21.
Adult Enrichment Series - "Women in Scripture" - Begins Tuesday, March 26
Please join us for “Women in Scripture – The Lost Voices”. This new series, presented by Ivy Cavegn, takes us into biblical passages in ways we’ve never imagined, as we look at and hear the many voices of its women. Having lived in a culture where women were rarely heard, their voices ring out today with surprising messages and truths. This series is held on four consecutive Tuesdays beginning March 26 with presentations at 9:00 am and 7:00 pm in Room 103. No need to register—just drop in, it’s free of charge!
Baptism Preparation Class
The next Baptism preparation session is on Saturday, March 30 at 10:30 am. There is no class in the month of April. Please call Andi at 651.784.3015 to register for the class.
Egg Hunt - April 7, 2019 after the 10:00 am Mass
Children aged preschool through 6th grade are invited to participate in this year’s Egg Hunt Sunday, April 7 after the 10 am Mass in the Faith Formation Wing of the building. Pre-registration is not required but participants must check-in before the Egg Hunt Table to receive a special bag to use for the Egg Hunt. Children 6th grade and older are invited to help with the Egg Hunt and will receive a special treat for their efforts. Children in 6th grade have the option to participate in the Egg Hunt or volunteer at the event. All eggs will include treats, some will also include trinkets and
special prize tickets to be redeemed at the Egg Hunt prize table. Lots of volunteers are needed to make this event possible. If you are interested in volunteering at the event, please contact Jen Parlin at JenP@SaintJosephsParish.org as soon as possible.
Heritage Edition of St. John’s Bible Learning Opportunity- Tuesday, April 9 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
Please join us in learning about our new Heritage Edition of the St. John’s Bible from its Executive Director, Jim Triggs. Mr. Triggs will present at St. Joe’s on Tuesday, April 9 from 1 – 3 pm in the Gathering Space.
Holy Land Pilgrimage - Fall 2019
St. Joe’s is taking a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, November 4-13, 2019 and all are invited along. Our group is filling up quickly so don’t forget to register if you want to go!!!! You can pick up a brochure with more information at the front desk or contact Gizzy Miko.
