Mission Trips

Mission Trips

A mission trip experience is offered each summer to give our youth a chance to spend a week away from home helping a community. Knowing that faith is not just about learning and having fun together (although that's a lot of it!), our Middle School youth serve both the local and larger communities. A couple of times a semester, the grades that are not meeting in small groups are invited to help at Second Harvest, or with other service-learning projects. Also, these youth serve the parish in hospitality and music ministries, as acolytes, as faith formation assistants for our younger children, in the nursery, and in many other areas of our parish life.

Middle School Extreme Faith Camp

This is a week to enjoy the fun of camp mixed with the beauty of our Catholic Faith. Ten local parishes are bringing their middle school students to Extreme Faith Camp for messy Olympics, large group games, and authentic discipleship. This camp is held at Camp Courage from June 26 to June 30. The total cost for the week includes room and board and is $375.00 per child. Registration is due on March 1.
